Search Terms
A name, place, or other term entered into a search widget is sent to the third-party provider operating that tool. Giles County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s terms and privacy practices govern the request after it leaves this service.
Messages
If a visitor sends a message or other contact submission, the service may retain the submitted name, email address, and message content to reply or maintain the correspondence. It is not shared outside the organization except when disclosure is legally required or needed to protect rights, safety, or property.
Technical Data and Cookies
When a browser loads a page, standard server and analytics tools may receive technical information such as:
- IP address;
- browser type and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent on them;
- the referring site, when one is available; and

Giles County Busted Mugshots does not control an outside site’s availability, content, or data handling.
Advertising partners may collect or use information about activity across websites to provide interest-based advertising on their own systems. That activity is governed by the partner’s own notices and choices, not by this Privacy Notice.
Parties That May Receive Data
Personal information is not sold. Depending on the activity involved, it may be disclosed to the following recipients:
- search partners that process a submitted query;
- analytics providers that help measure site use;
- advertising networks that provide or measure advertising; and
- law-enforcement agencies or government bodies when a valid legal order requires disclosure.
